These Terms govern your use of Skimcraft (“Skimcraft”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use Skimcraft.
Skimcraft helps you discover, organize, and learn from publicly available educational videos. We retrieve public metadata and captions, and use AI to produce study guides, learning notes, and cross-video playbooks. Skimcraft is a complement to the original videos — every guide links back to its source and encourages you to watch and support the creator.
Study guides, notes, tags, and playbooks are generated by AI. They may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and may omit important context. They are provided for convenience and do not replace the original material. Always verify anything important against the source video. You use AI-generated content at your own risk.
Videos, captions, trademarks, and other materials belong to their respective owners. Skimcraft claims no ownership over creators’ content. Skimcraft owns its own software and the original structure and presentation of the guides it generates. You may use guides for your own learning; you may not redistribute them at scale or use them to build a competing dataset or service (see Acceptable use).
You agree not to:
Skimcraft is invite-only during early access. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor. Plan limits (followed channels, playbooks, backfill, exports) are described on the pricing page and may change with notice. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
We respect creators’ rights. If you believe content should be removed, see our Copyright & removals page for our policy and a removal-request form.
Skimcraft is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
